I don’t usually think much of New Year’s resolutions, but Chuck Wendig has twenty-five of them for writers and you know what, really for anyone who’s doing anything. Seriously, these pumped me up and then some. Read them. Live them.

Write till your fingers bleed.

Grab the knife. Start cutting words off the block. Start arranging them into sentences, and start shoving those sentences together to make a story. Don’t look back. Don’t wait. Now is the only time you are promised. Now is the time to create.
